At its fall semester kick-off event, Quality Trails, MCC announced the recipients of employee service awards for the year!

Celebrating 20 years of service is Doni Hatchel; 15 years of service are Amanda Beman, Mark Dye, Marcus Ervin and Ed Hinson; 10 years of service are Roger Brown, Dr. Debby Douglas, Lynn Epps and Tonya Luck; with Wendy Grissom and Cody Starling celebrating five years with the college. Employees receive MCC-made pottery to commemorate their milestones.

In addition to years-of-service, MCC announced this year’s winners of the Staff and Faculty awards for 2026-2027. Jessica Hurley was named Staff Member of the Year, and Rebekah Bunting received the Excellence in Teaching Award.
