Director of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources at Montgomery Community College will manage the human resources office by providing leadership and direction to ensure the necessary services are provided in a highly motivated, cooperative, courteous and professional manner and that these services support the mission and goals of the college. This individual will contribute as a strategic partner in the accomplishment of departmental plans through initiatives that attract and retain talent, develop employees and leaders and align organizational goals and objectives. In addition, the position is responsible for payroll preparation and benefits administration. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business related field with 1 year of experience in human resources is required. A Master’s degree with 3 years of experience is preferred. Financial Aid Specialist/VA Certifying Official
Serves as the point of contact for current and prospective students, parents, and the public. He/she verifies and determines student financial aid eligibility, manages Veteran’s benefits, awards Campus based aid, and coordinates satisfactory academic progress (SAP). He/she also manages the Child Care Grant Program and state and federal reporting. Minimum Requirements: Associate’s Degree. Strong interpersonal skills. Accounting Technician/Special Projects
The Accounting Technician is responsible for assisting in performing annual assessments of Internal Control over financial reporting and compliance, coordination of Capital Project accounting, assisting with grants administration, assisting with the preparation of financial reporting, and assisting with other Business Office processes.  Required: Associates degree and two years work experience in Accounting or a business-related field. NCWorks Customer Service Specialist (FT)
The NC Works Customer Service Specialist must be able to work in NCWorks Online, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software applications necessary to support the operations of the Career Center and Continuing Education programs. The use of e-mail and the internet is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must in providing accurate information to visitors, telephone, and e-mail inquiries. This position will require the ability to provide career support services, multitask, manage time, and set priorities in order to meet deadlines. Adjunct Computer-Integrated Machining Instructor
Under general supervision, this individual will prepare and teach computer integrated machining courses designed for career technical programs. The faculty member must be able to instruct a wide variety of topics within the curriculum in a laboratory environment and may be required to teach day, evening and/or weekend hours.  Associate’s degree in machining or a related field from a regionally accredited institution and 3 years of relevant industry experience in computer integrated machining or related field required.  National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certifications for teaching assignment or the qualifications/experience to obtain within 1yr of hire and/or a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study preferred.  More than 3 years of relevant industry experience in computer integrated machining, post-secondary teaching and/or industry training experience, experience with set-up and operation of conversational mills/lathes, experience with multi-axis on both lathes and mills, and/or experience with set-up and operation of CNC equipment preferred. Open until filled. Associate’s Degree in construction trades or related field and extensive experience in general building maintenance and/or general contractor experience required.  The curriculum will prepare individuals to repair/maintain electrical and mechanical/physical structures of commercial and industrial institutions. Part-time Pharmacy Technician Instructor needed to teach a comprehensive, hybrid 144-hour course that will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field as a Pharmacy Technician I. Qualifications: Three (3) years clinical experience as a Pharmacy Technician 2 or higher certification preferred.
