MCC Unveils 2021 NRA Short-Term Gunsmithing Classes

Continuing Education Curriculum

Montgomery Community College is pleased to announce its slate of NRA-endorsed Gunsmithing classes for the 2021 year. Over 40 classes are available, the earliest of which begin in mid-February. Classes are offered at every level, from introductory to advanced experienced, and classes cover a wide range of topics from shooting instruction, gunsmithing and finishing, reloading and even knife making.

“All classes can be viewed in detail with the option to register at www.Montgomery.edu/nra,” explains Alex Williams, manager of MCC’s annual NRA course offerings. “Classes will be in person at MCC, classrooms will be set-up in socially-distanced fashion, with students required to wear face coverings during their entire time on our campus.”

A wide range of firearms are explored in this year’s class schedule: pistols, revolver, rifle, shotgun and AR-15. Classes are taught by experienced instructors from across the country, and designed to meet each student at their level of comfort and familiarity.
