MCC Unveils 2021 NRA Short-Term Gunsmithing Classes

Continuing Education Curriculum

Montgomery Community College is pleased to announce its slate of NRA-endorsed Gunsmithing classes for the 2021 year. Over 40 classes are available, the earliest of which begin in mid-February. Classes are offered at every level, from introductory to advanced experienced, and classes cover a wide range of topics from shooting instruction, gunsmithing and finishing, reloading and even knife making.

“All classes can be viewed in detail with the option to register at,” explains Alex Williams, manager of MCC’s annual NRA course offerings. “Classes will be in person at MCC, classrooms will be set-up in socially-distanced fashion, with students required to wear face coverings during their entire time on our campus.”

A wide range of firearms are explored in this year’s class schedule: pistols, revolver, rifle, shotgun and AR-15. Classes are taught by experienced instructors from across the country, and designed to meet each student at their level of comfort and familiarity.
