MCC Celebrates its 2025 BLET Grads

On May 20, eight Basic Law Enforcement Training students celebrated their graduation from MCC’s BLET program!

Kameron Robert Clark, Denando Lemar Ewings, Courtney Paige Heaton, Remi Alain Lamoureux, Erica Denise Lemonds, Zachary Mashburn, Juliana Thrower McRae and Heather Marie Phouangphrachanh received their certificates of completion with family members, college administration and trustees in attendance.

MCC also welcomed sponsoring agencies, law enforcement guests, instructors, volunteers and alumni of the program. The night’s opening prayer was provided by Allen Mashburn, Pastor of Asbury Baptist Church, and the guest speaker was Arthur Donadio, Assistant District Attorney for Montgomery and Stanly Counties. The evening’s benediction was provided by Pete Herron, Sheriff of Montgomery County.

The top fitness award went to Kameron Robert Clark. The top firearms award went to Zachary Mashburn. The top academic award went to Remi Alain Lamoureux.
