The Dental Hygiene curriculum provides individuals with the knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate dental hygiene care for the individual and the community. Students will learn to prepare the operatory, take patient histories, note abnormalities, plan care, teach oral hygiene, clean teeth, take x-rays, apply preventive agents, complete necessary chart entries, and perform other procedures related to dental hygiene care.
Graduates of this program may be eligible to take national and state/regional examinations for licensure which are required to practice dental hygiene. The Dental Hygiene Program will be accepting applications from March 23rd to April 20th. There will be an opportunity to take the TEAS Test on the MCC campus by invitation ONLY, to applicants who meet the minimum program admissions requirements. Information regarding on-campus TEAS testing will be sent via email to applicants who meet preliminary requirements on April 20th. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status between May 25th-29th.To get started please follow the steps below

The Dental Sciences Education Clinic is in Blair Hall and contains ten fully operational dental operatories. We are not accepting patients at this time.
