Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants are awarded to help students pay for their post-secondary education. These grants are for undergraduates with exceptional financial need (with priority given to Pell Grant recipients). To apply for the FSEOG, the student should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

  • Grant – no repayment
  • Undergraduates only
  • Campus-based program
  • Amount of award based on exceptional need and availability of funds with a minimum annual award of $100

These funds are awarded to students that meet the criteria with a zero efc for fall and spring in order of when they complete their FAFSA if they are enrolled for the semester. Fall consideration is October 1-March 15. Spring consideration is October 1-May 15. Depending on remaining funds for the summer semester and the amount of students enrolled it is MCC’s goal to award each student enrolled that meets the criteria.
