Controller
Responsible for budgeting, accounting for, and disbursing all funds made available to the College, in accordance with applicable laws, audit standards, and generally accepted accounting principles. Coordinates the financial functions of the Business Office and certain financial activity of the MCC Foundation. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business with Accounting as a concentration and three years' experience in governmental, public or non-profit accounting required.  Master's Degree and/or CPA and supervisory experience preferred.  Proficient in Excel, Word and networked accounting software systems. Dean of Arts and Sciences
The Dean of Arts and Sciences provides area leadership in promoting excellence in teaching and learning. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student success, faculty development, comfort with change, innovation, technology integration, and data-based decision making. The Dean will manage, coordinate, and supervise daily operations and functions in the Arts & Sciences area which currently consists of (8) full-time faculty and (10-15) adjunct faculty. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, personnel supervision, and long-range planning. In addition, the Dean will teach 6-9 hours per semester in the Arts and Sciences area. Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution required. Academic preparation that meets minimum SACSOC criteria for teaching in the Arts and Sciences area, excellent human relations/communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a timely manner required. Preferred qualifications include being credentialed to teach English, Communications, Physics, Math, a Foreign Language, or Engineering; 3-5 years of teaching at the college level; Administrative leadership experience. Target start date is January 2, 2019; Salary is dependent on experience and educational background. Application review will begin October 19th, 2018; then open until filled.
