Nursing Instructor for Part-Time Clinical Instruction
16 hours per week. PT HVAC Instructor
Position will instruct students in various heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration classes; will interact with/assist students. Instructor will instruct various assigned courses and labs in air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration by lecture and/or demonstration as appropriate. Associate degree in heating/air conditioning/refrigeration and/or five years of experience in servicing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities is required. FT Facility Maintenance Instructor (10mth Position)
Associate's Degree in construction trades or related field and extensive experience in general building maintenance and/or general contractor experience required. The curriculum will prepare individuals to repair/maintain electrical and mechanical/physical structures of commercial and industrial institutions. Course content will include carpentry, interior/exterior finishes, plumbing, electrical, masonry, air conditioning, heating, welding, machining, blueprint reading, building codes, OSHA regulations, etc. Instructor will work with High School and traditional age students. FT Sustainable Agriculture Instructor (10mth Position)
Bachelor's Degree in an agriculture-related discipline or an Associate's Degree with demonstrated experience in field required. Previous teaching experience preferred. Instructor will teach a wide variety of agriculture-related courses. The position will work with CCP students, advise the local FFA Chapter, and assist students in coordinating FFA activities at the local, district, state and national level. In addition, this position will plan/attend occasional evening events (recruitment events, advisory committee meetings, awards ceremonies, etc.). Annual Salary Range: $42,000-$45,000. PT Small Appliance Repair Instructor
5 years of approved experience in the appliance repair trade preferred. Instructor will instruct at Southern Correctional Institute in the repair, service, and maintenance of small appliances. FT Automotive Systems Technology Instructor (10mth Position)
Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology or related field of study from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution, 3 years of recent, relevant industry experience in an automotive repair facility, experience/proficiency with automotive testing/diagnostic equipment and teaching and/or industry training experience required. Current ASE Master Certification with L1, or ability to attain within six months of hire, 5 years of recent, relevant industry experience in an automotive repair facility, teaching experience in a secondary/post-secondary automotive technology program and experience with assessment of student learning outcomes preferred. Minimum of Associate's Degree in Industrial Systems Technology or related field, Bachelor’s preferred. Two years post-secondary instructional experience and/or five years industry experience required. Must have working knowledge of industrial electronics subject matter and applications, hydraulics, pneumatic, and standard wiring methods as per NEC. FT Educational Partnerships Technical Assistant
High School Diploma or equivalent and Associate's Degree in progress, 1-2 years of experience working with school age students and proficiency in Word/Excel required. Associate's Degree completion, 1-2 years' experience in the North Carolina Community College System and knowledge of the Colleague/Ellucian system preferred.
