Outreach services are available to all MCC students.

One of these services include the Student Assistance Program delivered by MYgroup McLaughlin Young, LLC which offers professional help to students and their immediate household members which can make the difference between solving a problem or continuing to struggle through periods of confusion, indecision and personal crisis. The Student Access Program provides help with personal, school, or work related problems:

  • Grief & Loss
  • Stress, Anxiety & Depression
  • Alcohol or drug use
  • School-related issues
  • Goal setting
  • Legal & financial issues

Students can have up to 3 FREE sessions per topic, it is 100% Confidential, it is available 365 days, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. To seek assistance simply call 704-529-1428 or 800-633-3353. You may also use the Counseling Services computers to use this service.

Another service available to students is Find Help which is a community-based search tool open to the public which helps students find basic needs services available in their community.
