Director bio:

Mark Dye graduated from Montgomery Community College's Gunsmithing program in 1998.  He worked at Clark Custom Guns in Louisiana from 1998 to 2002.  There, he specialized in 1911-style handguns. He worked at Bowen Classic Arms in Tennessee from 2002-2011, specializing in custom revolver work.  He owned and operated Dye Custom from 2005-2011, working mainly on competition handguns.  Mark came back to MCC to teach Gunsmithing in July, 2011. He became the program director in January, 2015.  Mark holds a US patent for a trigger system for a 1911-style handgun. He is an avid competition handgun and 3-gun shooter.
