Degrees and Programs

grad cap and diploma

degree, diploma, certificate & non-credit options

Classes and programs at Montgomery Community College fall into two general categories: classes that earn college credit and classes that do not earn college credit.

College credits are earned toward a certificate, diploma, or two-year degree. Credits earned in college credit classes can, in many cases, transfer to other institutions.

Non-credit (continuing education) classes are non-transferrable. Many non-credit classes earn CEUs, or continuing education units. Also, many of the classes lead to industry certifications that are required for employment (ex: nursing assistant registry, CFC certification, MOS certification, etc.)

The following classes and programs are listed alphabetically by subject. Please check both credit and non-credit columns if you are looking for a particular subject. (Not all non-credt courses are offered every semester.) If you do not see a class on a subject of interest, please contact the Continuing Education Department to request a class at (910) 898-9672, or (910) 898-9673.
