Classes are offered for the adult who desires to complete studies for the Adult High School Equivalency Diploma (formerly GED®) or to improve reading, writing, and math skills. Instruction is available to the non-reader. Contextualized instruction is utilized in a classroom setting.
Before enrolling in a class, an individual must attend a registration/orientation session. Minors (16-17 years of age) may enroll in the program but need to obtain a Minor Release Form to be completed by a parent or legal guardian and the Board of Education before registering. For further information please contact the College and Career Readiness Department at (910) 898-9680, or (910) 898-9678. All College and Career Readiness classes are free.
