Project Skill UP is a training program made possible through a grant from the North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund. Classes are designed to provide short-term training leading to employment to individuals adversely affected by changes in the tobacco industry.
Training classes are in the areas of electrical/electronics, allied health, HVAC, taxidermy, office administration and welding. (Classes will vary by semester.)
Eligible participants will receive funds for their educational expenses including tuition, books, and supplies.
