MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree; proven communication, organizational and leadership skills; experience in higher education administration. RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports to the College President and is responsible for providing leadership and vision to all student services programs. The candidate will be proactive in analyzing the current needs of the division and demonstrate the ability to incorporate necessary strategies to include online registration, ease of registration for students on campus and recruitment. The candidate must be able to work independently and as a team member, working closely with students, the community, governmental agencies, and other individuals to carry out the mission of MCC. Position Vacancy: Practical Nursing instructor. Full-time 12 month position. Bachelor’s degree in nursing, current unrestricted license as a registered nurse, and two calendar years or equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse required. Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education or MSN and Community College teaching experience preferred. Salary range: $4113-$4613/month, depending on teaching experience. Part-time instructor needed for Foodservice Technology courses. Associate’s degree in Culinary or Foodservice required. Classes at Southern Correctional. Courses include: FST 100 Introduction to Foodservice--Wednesdays 8am-10:50am; FST 102 Basic Foodservice Skills—T/Th 8am-9:50am; 10am-10:50am, Wednesday 1pm-3pm, Tuesday 1pm-3:30pm, Thursday 1pm-2:30pm.
Part-time instructor needed for NET 126 Routing Basics course. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology or Networking Technology preferred; two year associate’s degree required. Must be proficient in the following: The OSI Model, TCP/IP, IP Addressing, Router and IOS Basics, Router Startup and Configuration, Routing Protocols, Network Services, Access Lists, Basic Switching and Switch Configuration. CCNA certification preferred. Must be willing to work evening hours. NET 126 Routing Basics offered Monday and Wednesday, 7:30-9:45 p.m., Spring semester only; Jan. 8--May 10, 2010.
