History - The State Board of Education issued a charter to Montgomery Technical Institute on September 7, 1967.

MCC Annual Report - At the 2009 Foundation Awards Ceremony, $57,000 was awarded in student scholarships, and honor was given to those who have established scholarships to help these students. MCC Institutional Fact Book - Montgomery Community College students are residents in 53 out of 100 North Carolina counties, and 27 out of 50 states.
