Coordinate Basic Law Enforcement Training Program. Other duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to instruction of classes and advising students; serving as BLET liaison for the college with the Criminal Justice Community, Systems Office, and NC Criminal Justice and Sheriff's Training and Standards Division; assessing the need of the Criminal Justice Community through surveys, meetings and personal contact to develop courses of instruction; designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the BLET program; scheduling classes; recruiting qualified adjunct instructors; continuous evaluation of the BLET Program to insure student success, supporting the total mission of the college through attendance of various college functions; meeting core curriculum models adopted by Community College system and complies with SACS and/or accreditation criteria; recruiting and fostering retention of students; maintaining a variety of records and reports including up to date test files and curricular plans; maintain BLET related equipment; reading and researching curriculum-related materials; reviewing current books and publications.
Full-time position: Director of Learning Technologies/Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Four years’ experience in online instructional methodology/design and Blackboard learning management system, teaching experience, strong customer service orientation working with students, and supervisory experience. Knowledge of multiple learning technologies.Montgomery Community College's QEP topic is "Strengthening the Online Student Learning Environment."
Responsibilities: Creating/monitoring online learning systems and coordinating the online student learning environment. Salary Range: $47,352 - $54,552. Must complete Montgomery Community College application; include resume, transcripts, and three references.
