Developmental Studies
Welcome to Developmental Studies! Developmental Studies courses are designed to ensure student success in academic course work. These courses are scheduled for students who need college preparatory course work according to placement scores and who need to complete course requirements for entry into a specific curriculum.
Upon completion of the courses, students should be able to do the following:
- Apply basic reading skills at the minimum level established by the curriculum;
- Apply basic grammatical principles of standard written English at the minimum level established by the curriculum;
- Apply basic writing skills at the minimum level established by the curriculum; and
- Apply basic mathematical skills at the minimum level required by the curriculum.
